Huawei Anticipates More Than 100% Growth In India
Huawei, the smartphone maker, anticipates registering more than 100% development in business of mobile devices by the end of 2017 in India, a top administrator of the firm claimed to the media this week in an interview.
“We anticipate achieving more than 100% growth this year in user business. India is a big market. Such type of huge market has branched out users. In various channel users are requesting for various things. We are making attempt to make them happy,” Peter Zhai, Consumer Business Group of Huawei India, claimed to the media in an interview.
The company this week rolled out first 4G VoLTE-enabled four-camera handset in the world dubbed as Honor 9i with a price tag of Rs 17,999. The firm makes its separate chipset for mobile smartphones. The new handset will have 5.5 inch display, eight core Kirin 659 chipset of Huawei, 64 GB internal storage, 4 GB RAM, and a battery of 3340 mAh.
It will be traded solely on Flipkart, the e-commerce platform, from next month. The firm aims to end this year with 10% share in the market. Zhai claimed that Huawei’s share in the market in India will develop steadily.
“We have turned out to be 2nd largest brand all over the world over years with spending on technology, product, and experience. We do not need to burn money or rush or put cheap cost for our goods just to gain name. We are aiming to spread our trade via users’ word of mouth. Development in India will take time but we will go behind correct policy,” Zhai claimed further.
He claimed that first priority for the company is to make commerce in India precious for users, sustainable for business associates, and healthy for the company. “This is the method we have been lessening our gap with leading brands in industry,” Zhai claimed.
In conjunction with the phone, the company rolled out 2 versions of Honor Media Pad T3 10 with a price tag of Rs 16,999 and Rs 14,999. At the roll out event Honor also revealed a Power Bank of 10,000mAh power having a cost of Rs 2,399
