Has Amber Heard moved on already, with billionaire Elon Musk?

Their divorce has only just been finalised. But, Johnny Depp’s ex wife Amber Heard is reported to have moved on already. The actress is understood to have started a new relationship with billionaire businessman Elon Musk.

It is believed that Mr Musk has had a crush on Ms Heard for a number of years and decided to make a move after her much publicized break up from Pirates of the Caribbean star Mr Depp last year. According to a source, Ms Heard is relieved that her divorce has finally come through and is planning on going public with her new romance soon.

The source added that Ms Heard had already told close friends about her blossoming relationship during the festive period. They said she was now pleased to be moving on to an exciting new chapter in her life. Mr Musk is said to be worth a massive £9.2bn. Apparently, he became besotted with the actress after they both appeared in the movie Machete Kills in 2013. While she had a starring part, he had a cameo role and they never met on set.

Dinner date

Apparently, Mr Musk then asked the movie director to set up a meeting. And, while a dinner was arranged, Ms Heard stood Mr Musk up. However, Mr Musk is understood to have continued to pursue her, saying that he was not looking for a date as he knew she was in a relationship, but he thought she seemed like an interesting person.

Ms Heard filed for divorce from Mr Depp last year, claiming that he had physically abused her; something he strenuously denied. Their separation was then finalised in August and their divorce has just come through. The pair were married for just 14 months, but Mr Depp has agreed to a settlement worth just shy of $7m.
